Every day at the office we see how much of his program we can stomach before we can stand it no longer and switch to another station. So, this blog is about all the gut clenching, stomach churning, sick making purile drivel Steve Wright comes out with, and why we hate it so!
The only good things ever said about the tosser’s show is when he’s not in it, and Mark Radcliff, or Lisa Tarbuck or even Daffy Duck and Crusty the Clown

He makes me feel sick. I now can't listen to Radio 2 while he's on. How far do you have to get up your own arse before you disappear. 99% of humans think that Steve Wright is a c**t. Now that's a factoid.
Hey, and what about the nauseating garbage he puts out every Sunday morning? Who are these sad, brainwashed people who leave msgs on his answering machine saying "love the show"? I can only think they got the wrong number. Why my Mrs likes him is beyond me.
SW is the most patronising, insincere and unintelligent DJ (that's all he really is but many would dispute even that) I've ever heard. Only Dale ("I won't tell anyone I started at Radio Trent cos I was even worse then") Winton can compete.
And his research is peerless. I remember mistakenly tuning in one afternoon to hear him mispronounce a female guest's surname half a dozen times (wish I could remember who it was now) but you can imagine the producer and half the listeners screaming in his headphones. He then took the correct pronunciation in 3 stages so the listener supposedly wouldn't notice. What a cock.
And yes, he has this f****** self importance about him - listen to the tone of his voice just before the hour, telling the nation how many ways there are to hear his wonderful show whent they're already f****** listening - John Humphreys on Radio 4, eat your heart out.
For G-d's sake, WHY do women like listening to this? Probably the same reason they like Peter ("teaboy" "where can I buy a personality") Schofield.

Thank God there are sane people out there! What a complete and utter, UTTER TOSSER he is! "Great show Steve.....NOT." If someone were to machine-gun him, I think I'd be relieved! PLEASE BBC, enough of this imbecile. To think that we are funding this American licking, sycophantic 'movie' star loving, fat, drivel spewing moron.
I honestly thought that the humour during the show was so poor that it was laughing at itself. But Wright and his purile co hosts (the talentless bloke and the hippy woman who is always pushing her own products) actually do believe their humour is funny and (I think) mutually laugh out loud because they feel an utterance rates it. But what scares me is that the listnening public have got so dumb that they feel this is entertainment. Is everyone tired how Radio 2 DJ's are in a mutual promotion club. I found the overblown, Radio 2 accolates when Wogan decided to leave his breakfast show as sickly. So what?? you would think its the end of the earth not some overpaid confused DJ ending a run of endless mediocrity. OK he fronted Children in Need on paid work time (didnt he take a percentage to do this?) but its hardly worth raising him to a god-like status. Dont get me started on Jeremy Vine's busy body, prole targeted whinging show ....
I think the most irritating things about this waste of airtime are: -
- The way he wallows in his own ignorance
- His self importance and self aggrandisement, how many times a day does he read out a listener comment about how great his "big show" is?
- The fact that the lazily chosen music is hardly acknowledged - he often doesn't even say what the track was - is this because much of the show is pre-recorded with the tracks slotted in later??
