Spring has sprung, the grass has riz ...
Oh life is good isn’t it?
But that’s odd, my week hasn’t been especially exciting, in fact I’ve let a couple of people down this week which I hate to do. Also I lost a deal through non-action, and that deal was mine so that’s not so good!
So what is it that makes me feel quite so happy today. My rowing hasn’t been so great [I row quite regularly], I got home late last night despite assurances and promises to the contrary (which landed me deep in the proverbial).
I haven’t even started laying the patio that should now be finished and ready for the summer, and yet, strangely there is a spring in my step, a bonhomie in my general manner and I feel tip top and happy.
What could it be?
DOH – Of course!
I haven’t heard on single nauseating, sycophantic self-important comment all week – AHHHHH, No Steve Wright, what a difference this makes to the afternoons!

I'm so glad I found this site. I know some people who pretend that they actually like SW! How cruel are they?

I can't believe that SW gets £420,000 a year for his 'Big load of cr*p'!!!
Today has been really strange. I found myself laughing out loud listening to Radio 2 between the hours of 2 and 5pm! There's a really funny DJ on and he's come out with totally original humour!!! Oh, just realised Steve Wright is away...Strange?!!!!! STAY AWAY, AND DON'T BOTHER RETURNING WRIGHTY!
I'm fresh out of hospital, and now i've got 6 glorious weeks of recovery before i go back to work, and suffer 'him' again !
I absolutely detest the *#~!, but i find myself glued to his every word just to see what little gem he is going to come out with next. In fact i'm sure he's not human....he is in fact a fountain from which comes a constant effortless flow of 'taurus excretum', if you get my drift.
Several weeks ago, he managed to tip me over the edge, and i broke the workshop wireless with a well aimed metal casting which was in my hand at just the right time.
He achieved this by reading out an e-mail which went along the lines of' "Dear Steve, love the show, blah,blah,blah,blah...your show brings our family together everyday, wherever we are in the world". That was too much for me, and after a short burst of Chaucerian vernacular, i launched the metal casting !
Is it compulsory to have a stupid (made up ?) name if you work with 'him' ? .... Miles Mendozzer, jamie Lee Grace, Shelley Von Strunkle,etc etc
