Why, when introducing the guests coming up on his show, does Steve Wright have to try to make it sound like they’re all such great personal friends of his?

Case in point today – "And we have our good friend the Duchess of Cornwall coming on later too"

As Mr Creosote himself would say – that makes me 'feel better'
