Is it me, or is Ask Elvis on more and more?
I haven’t been keeping scientific crack of this, but isn’t the Ask Elvis slot being aired more often?
I’m pretty sure that this used to be Friday lunchtime only but it’s Thursday today and he’s on, and I’m sure he was on before this week.
I could be wrong about this, but if I’m not does it mean that they’ve finally realised that a caricature of a dead pop star answering daft questions in a reasonably funny way is far far far better entertainment than the plonkers we normally have to listen to!

It's so tedious. How many more times are we forced to hear Steve and his gang laugh like a pack of wild hyenas as they tear this poor rock stars memory to shreds with crap, deja-vu, so-called jokes? Elvis was a one of the world's greatest entertainers who has been cheapened by low lifes like Mr Wright and his gang. It's just NOT funny. The joke's old and boring. Have you noticed that he'll play Elvis songs around his Ask Elvis as a way of softening the blow to Elvis fans. Problem is he plays the same Elvis songs every time. Don't insult our intelligence mate, GROW UP child and get something original!
I think they should give elvis thow show and demote steve to a feature called ask steve...... second thought call the feature Elvis tortures steve

Get a grip, its comedy. dont take so serious. Elvis is great and the steve wright Elvis does nothing to take away from that, its just a joke. There are bigger things to worry about
I hardly think they are tearing Elvis's memory to shreds. Elvis was a good singer and is believed by some to have put rock and roll on the map. Thats what he is mainly remembered for, and always will be. Someone performing a 'comedy impersonation' isn't going to change that!
I don't have any views one way or the other regarding Steve Wright, I think the ask Elvis sketches are funny. If I didn't like I just wouldn't listen to him, there are plenty of other stations / DJs out there to listen to...I think its pretty sad that you felt the need to waste your own time and create this inane and utterly useless website to satisfy your own egotistical and sycophantic desires.
What is even more annoying is that I felt the need to entertain this tripe and warrant it with a response...

Without displaying the hatred I really feel for the man I would like to say that radio 2 is a worthwile station rendered totally unlistenable between 2 and 5 in the afternoon. I just cannot believe the BBC allow this retarded,self serving,useless on his own,useless with his hangers on, piece of pointless garbage to continue broadcasting..
