Steve Wright Reads the News
There have been a couple of comments regarding Steve Wright reading the news during his show, invariably only a few minutes after it has already been read and frequently including some commentary from him about the news he’s reading.
It occurred to me why this might be.
If you were producing the show, and only had Steve Wright and his brain-dead cronies to use for the show – how else would you fill the time? Get him to repeat what other people have already said.

You're 100% correct about this WA. From the opening signature tune... Surely it's time for a new? The music is always the same...How many times have we heard the SAME SONGS from Sister Sledge, Kool & the Gang or Stevie Wonder? Yawn bloody yawn. Why can't he play anything new from these artists? I reckon it's because so many of his chav fans need to have their fix of that familiar daily 'comfort blanket' of complete and utter radio tosh. GET A LIFE PEOPLE - check out you local music store, there's so much more music out there! Oh and please chuck STEVE WRIGHT in his skip for good!
