Holy sweet mother of Mary - Steve Wright was just funny!

No really, I mean it – it’s happened.

 

After what seems to have been a life time of pain and tired old jokes, unchanged format and "Steve Wright in the Eighties" banter, he’s just made me laugh.

 

Now, I still think that SW, his show and certainly his sycophantic co-presenters are all the most useless radio presenters since Guglielmo Marconi transmitted the first commercial broadcast in 1893, BUT  ...   credit where credit is due, he said a one liner today that made me laugh.

 

Was it enough to make up for all the truly atrocious radio I’ve been subject to, courtesy of Himself? Er ... no, of course not, but it was a moment in my day that will live long into the next 5 minutes.

 

I guess it just goes to show that even talentless dipsticks can have off-days and actually do something almost well.
